Smart case insensitive matching for ViM an unattanable dream?
Try :set ignorecase smartcase
This will ignore the case sensitivity except if you specify a capital, then it becomes case sensitive.
eg.
bob --> bob, Bob, BOb, BOB, etc.
boB --> boB
BoB --> BoB
